Thomas H Glynn Jun. was born on 21st October 1879 at 109 Charles Street in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. He was the third child of Thomas Glynn and Mary Cooney and the last of their family to be born in England. His mother registered his birth on the seventeenth of November 1879 and itís a possibility that his father was already residing in the US at that time. His mother took him and his siblings to visit her parents William and Margaret Cooney in Glanford Brigg, Lincolnshire and it was there that they were found when the 1881 Census was taken.
He was an assistant ticket taker for the Pullman Company in 1900 but by the time of the 1920 Census he was a clerk with the City Treasurerís Office (KCMO) at City Hall. He never married and lived at home with his parents, sister, brother-in-law and their children at 523 Benton blvd., until his death. He died on 20 January 1922 of a ruptured aortic aneurism and was buried in Mount St Maryís Cemetery on 23rd January. His brother James was the informant on the death certificate but he was pretty vague when it came to detail as he couldnít recall Thomasí birth date.
